Hi, I’m Shaun.

I’m an artist drawn to surfaces that invite touch. Reflecting on our emotional ties to the past, I paint on vintage materials associated with the home.

While texture is central to my practice, I also explore line and gesture through fluid ink drawings. Flowers and the body are recurring motifs, speaking to life’s impermanence and the resilience of the human spirit.

Hello, Goodbye: Words for what remains

Introducing my first artwork-haiku pairing in book form. Twenty-four full colour artworks sit in dialogue with a haiku, and a short introductory essay offers context and reflection you won't find elsewhere.

Hello, Goodbye: Words for What Remains is yours to keep as a downloadable PDF when you subscribe to my newsletter, The Linen Cupboard.
